Epcot Food & Wine Festival Overview

Celebrating its 22nd year, the 2017 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will be held from August 31 - November 13, 2017. Your Epcot admission is all that's needed to participate in this popular event! More information will be added as it becomes available, but until then, read all about the 2016 festival events!

General Information

The Festival Welcome Center features a Wine Shop where you can purchase your favorite selection as well as other event souvenirs.

There are marketplaces featuring food, wine and beer. The appetizer-sized portions usually range in price from $4.00 - $8.00 and provide the perfect opportunity to try the traditional cuisine from around the world. Many items are available for a Snack Credit on the Disney Dining Plan.

The International Food and Wine Festival will play host to seminars, tasting events and sumptuous meals overseen by top Disney Chefs as well as renowned guest Chefs. 

The special dining events can be booked by calling (407) WDW-FEST. All bookings are non-transferable and non-refundable.

2017 Food & Wine Festival Welcome Center

The Welcome Center is located in Future World East to the left of Mission: SPACE. Open daily from 9:00 a.m. - park close. At the Festival Center, stop by the Information Desk from 9:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. to get any of your Food & Wine Festival questions answered. Guests can also get their Marketplace Discovery Passport Completion Stamp here.

  • Festival Stage hosted by ABC's The CHEW! Watch The CHEW, a daily talk show discussing food. Gets tips on entertaining and new recipes, plus pick up a list of CHEW-approved foods from around the Festival.
  • Merchandise Shops -
    • Pick up Festival logo merchandise at the Stockpot Shop, such as pins, shirts, hats, aprons, kitchenware and artwork. 
    • At the Festival Center Wine Shop, browse through hundreds of wines that have been showcased at the Festival. 
  • Remy's Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt. Kids can search for 15 little Remy statuettes with maps, stickers, and prizes.
  • Intermissions Cafe - Offering a selection of wine, cheese, sandwiches and salads.
  • Wine/Beverage seminars: Learn tips from a wine or beverage expert and sample the selections. Monday - Thursday at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. (on Thursday, August 31, 2017, there will be an additional seminar at 5:00 p.m.); Friday - Sunday at 1:30, 3:30, and 5:00 p.m. Cost is $17 per person plus tax. Call (407) WDW-FEST to book.
  • Culinary demonstrations: These 45-minute demonstrations will give you tips and samples from chefs and beverage professionals. List of demonstrations can be found here. Monday - Thursday at 2:30 p.m.; Friday - Sunday at 12:15 and 2:30 p.m. Cost is $17 per person, plus tax. Call (407) WDW-FEST to book.
  • Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It! Seminars: Learn how to prepare both trendy and classic cocktails from a professional mixologist. List of demonstrations can be found here. Monday - Thursday from 12:15 - 1:30 p.m. Cost is $49 per person plus tax.

  • The Chocolate Experience: From Bean to the Bar Hosted by Ghirardelli Chocolate Company. Chocolate sculptures will be on display from the Walt Disney World Resort Pastry chefs. Sample chocolate, purchase drinking chocolate, select a wine and chocolate pairing and shop for Ghirardelli chocolates. Daily from 9:00am - park close.

  • Book Signings and Meet & Greets: Meet authors and other personalities speaking at the Festival. There will be the opportunity for you to get your purchased books and merchandise items autographed. Check daily schedules.
  • Bottle Signings: Meet the winemakers and get your purchased bottle of wine autographed. Check daily schedules.
  • Seasons of the Vine- 7-minute film showing the world of winemaking. Film will run continuously throughout the day.

    Dining packages are available and will guarantee you reserved seating for the concerts. Choose from lunch or dinner at 13 different restaurants. Prices vary by restaurant, but start at $34.99 for lunch (includes appetizer, entree, dessert and drink). Lunch reservations will have reserved seating at the 5:30 p.m. show; dinner reservations will have reservations for the 6:45 or 8:00 p.m. show.

    World Showcase Live Entertainment - 2017

    Suroît - August 31 – October 1 – New to Epcot, this renowned band hails from Canada’s Magdalen Islands in eastern Quebec. For four decades, their infectious sound has embraced influences from Cajun, Celtic, bluegrass and rock music. Join Suroît on the Mill Stage at the Canada pavilion.

    Margret Almer & The Bavarian BandBeginning August 31 and continuing through the holiday season - World-famous yodeler Margret Almer makes an encore appearance at Epcot this fall. She’ll be performing with The Bavarian Band at the Germany pavilion.

    Musique Aramenco
    September 1 – December 30 - Another returning favorite takes the stage at the Morocco pavilion. Musique Aramenco presents a fusion of traditional and modern Moroccan music.

    Bodh’aktanOctober 2 – 22 - Back by popular demand, Bodh’aktan mixes Quebecois, folk, and polka to make fantastic rock and dance music. After rocking stages across Quebec, the United States and Europe, this incredibly popular, kilted band is returning for an Epcot encore at the Canada pavilion.

    RaffyOctober 23 – November 26 - This musical quartet will make their Epcot debut on the Mill Stage. Raffy’s infectious energy has been embraced across Canada through a live tour, appearances on television and radio airplay of their first hit single.

    Special Dining Events at Disney Resorts

    Party for the Senses will take place on select Saturdays from 7:30 - 10:00 p.m. in the World Showplace Events pavilion. This elegant, dance-filled party will include gourmet tastings of champagne, wine, craft beers and specialty cocktails, all paired with food. The event even includes reserved seating for 5:30 PM and 6:45 PM performances of the Eat to the Beat concert series as an added bonus! List of details on each party can be found here. Prices range from $179 to $329 plus tax per person; gratuity included.

    What's Cookin' With... - This plated brunch will be hosted by a celebrity guest. Festival Welcome Center, Chef's Showcase. Select Fridays and Sundays. $129 plus tax per person; gratuity included.

    The Signature Dining is a meal with wine pairings. A Host Chef teams with a Representative from one of the hosting wineries who will present the dinner's wine. Prices are listed per person, plus tax, gratuity included. Theme park admission is not required, except for Tiffins, The Hollywood Brown Derby and Le Cellier Steakhouse.
